Default Discovery First Aid Kit

I'll be picking up my first discovery soon and want to be prepared should the worst happen while I'm out on the road. What do you all carry in your car in case of emergency? Belts, hoses, clamps etc etc.

I'm still learning the nuances of this vehicle every day via this forum, so thank you to every that contributes! I cant wait to officially join the club soon

Alex M has a good post about this — just search for his name and you’ll find it 👍🏻

I'll look it up, guess I'm not digging deep enough into the forum yet

I actually have an old LR OEM first aid kit lol. Of coarse the stuff inside expired, but I’ve just replaced it.

Default Tools, gloves, fluids, anticipated spares....

Ya a complete tool kit is essential, fluids, epoxy, gorilla tape, water, pistachios, a handlebar mustache is the glove box, a raincoat, gloves, safety goggles, e blanket for overnights, a flashlight, flashing triangles, a fire extinguisher & yes knuckle bandages. If that hord won’t do it make sure you have a few large hunks of cardboard & some large ink markers along with a good sense of humor.

It's a real LR first aid kit (from the early 90's) & all the contents have expired. Just replaced all the band aids, gauze, creams, and added a few things over the years.

Now actually the roadside kit for the D2 is very simple to do. Get yourself the largest single height Plano (or generic fishing container) load it up with misc relays, MAF, a spare lug nut or two, IAC, bulbs, Purge Control Valve, and misc small items that can fail. Then just toss it either in the back on the floor (SE7 owners) or in one of the side bins. I carry at least 1-2qt of 15/40w Rotella, and then of coarse all my off road recovery gear.
