Default Discovery II CDL

Hi guys,

Does anyone know where I can purchase an "Ashcroft like" CDL for Discovery 2?[8D]
Mine is a 2001, and I would like to go with the 2004 cable based instead of the D-1 hard link.
I had contacted Ashcroft directly, they are out of stock, and cannot tell when they will have one.

Thanks, I had reviewed this web site, they are VERY expensive, it should be something like 500 USD tops.
I wonder, is it a genuine LR kit, or some kind of after market like the one Ashcroft make?

They are BOTH genuine factory items that were fitted to 03 - 04 vehicles that had a CDL from new.

Ashcroft are currently "Looking" at producing a kit as the land rover one is no longer available.

You can also buy an older LT 230 and remove the CDL diff from it or I have a friend who is selling a complete 04 t/case with 34,000 miles for $500.

I assume you have looked to confirm your '01 has the CDL nipple in the t-case right? I had to scout RoverLandParts for a good 6 months until I saw an '04 linkage become available. I called a lot of places to see if they would pull the linkage, but they had to sell the t-case fisrt. Plus they usually forget a piece or two as well.
