I have searched the forums and seen this issue with no resolution, so i will post
My 2000 disco II's rear seat will not latch into the upright normal seating position. It constantly falls forward and is a HUGE safty issue for anyone sitting in the back seat. Can anyone offer any insight?

Have you checked the latch and floor mount to make sure there is nothing jaming it from locking?

 

may be different on a d2, but my seat belts always end up falling under the support feet making it impossible to lock until I move them

maybe the same thing?
