I have a 2003 Discovery II S with the standard stereo with 6 speakers (no sub). I like the stereo and I have the 6 disc cd changer. My only problem is the bass that it produces. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to add a sub and still use the factory head unit?

 

You can get a crossover that will accept speaker level input. Send the speakers to the rear and take the subwoofer output to another amp that will run your sub.
