Does anyone know exactly where the manual crank for a 95 Discovery front sun roof is. I read on another posting that it's under a plastic plug somewhere, but I removed my glass and looked everywhere and can't find it? Are there two of them for each rail? Does anyone have a picture? My manual does not show it. Thanks.

 

Its inside of the truck.
I saw it when I was replacing my mirror, but I can recall where.
I will look it up in my service book to night when I get home if no one has beat me to it.

 

Look under the little tab, it takes a allen wrench.

Do you know the exact location where the tab cover is? Is it on the roof or near the sun visors, or near the rear view mirror? I have a 95 Discovery. My front sun roof has two plastic mechanisms that hold the glass, one on the left, and the other on the right, which attach themselves to the rails. I have one stuck towards the bottom, and one on towards the top. I'm hoping the manual crank will help me align them so I can put the glass back on. Thanks again. I wish my Haynes service manual had more information.

 

Its in the center just about 4 inchs back of the sun roof buttons the cover is about 1 inch
wide and about 1 1/2 long. A small opening.
