Greetings from Transylvania, now i've gota scantool but I couldn't find the OBD connector. According to the owner's manual is somewhere under the wheel. I found a connector there but is not like the usual OBD, it's smaller and has less pins. (My Disco II has Y the 10'th letter of the chassis so it's '99-'00 make / in europe because it was sold by Bavaria Automobile)
Any suggestions?, I have the DEC SUPERSCAN II enhanced for L.R.,the dealer said I can use it for any L.R. since '95.
Be advised that in europe wasn't mandatory the OBD just after 2001

I've investigated all the diagnostic possibilities for L.R(especially Disco II) and I can help anyone with informations about prices and coverage of some dedicated L.R. tools.

 

Here in the states, any hand OBD2 scanner from $40 and up will plug in and read codes from under the steering wheel. I don't know why you would have a something other then the standard OBD2 port.
