Default Do I have an alarm?

Hey Everyone,

I have a 95 Disco V8i. Just got it running again, thanks to all of you for your help. One thing I noticed while diagnosing the issues of not starting I took apart the center dash section looking for the alarm control box thinking that may be an issue. I did not find it in there and I did not get a remote with the truck when I bought it. Is there a chance that I do not have the factory security system? It has the light for it under the radio. Is there another spot I should be looking maybe?

Thanks for any guidance you can give.

Andy

You do have a factory alarm.
Might want to down load a free copy of a Rave Cd, shop manual, which should help you.

On the pre-1996 models the alarm is behind the kick panel under the glove box, back in there some where.
