Do you wave at other DII's driving by?
i grew up in a small town in VT and everyone waved to each other, i miss that. now near the city and i don't bother waving unless its an old rover. otherwise i'll most likely get a 1 finger wave in return
^yes we do haha. People think it's so odd when I stop on my motorcycle/ huge DII/ murdered modded S60R to let a 6 year old cross the street. Don't expect the kindness we VTers like to give.
I wave or flash my lights OR do one flick of my wiper blades. All work and usually every single time they respond. It's only a disco thing though. RR and RRS tend to stare me down...I'm not sure why. I also always try to park near Discos. Or any LR. There is a real nice black D2 at my university, but I always get there too late and someone parks next to it, and there is a red one as well D2 but that one is hard to find sometimes haha

When I drive my Series III, most of the modern Rover drivers look right through me (I'm sure they don't recognize the lineage). I wave at other Series drivers. (not like this happens very often)
When I drive the Disco, nobody waves.
When I drive my '47 ******, everyone waves (including pedestrians)
Maybe it's because it's so slow everyone has a chance to wave.

If the vehicle is modified or expedition outfitted I always wave, chances are they're an enthusiast. I wave to other people in my S60R only if they also have an S60R/V70R. I wave to most people on motorcycles but usually not on harley's because they're f*gs and generally don't wave back.
Not to many queers on Harley's up here.
but seriously for me it's just a noise thing, they sound like **** and they're way too loud.
