Default Does this Harmonic Balancer need replaced?

In the attached pictures, is the harmonic balancer in need of replacing due to scoring of the gasket surface? I ran my fingernail over the surface with a latex glove on but it didn't seam to catch on anything so it may just look worse than it is.

Clean all the crud off first and then take a view. I reckon if you stick it in a lathe and polish the area with very fine emery paper using wet and dry, say about 300-500 grade, it'll polish up OK. Don't use any course emery otherwise it'll scratch and create grooves.
