The zone manager for MB that called on my Dad's dealership had a cabrio diesel, it was a beautiful car. Although I could never justify a new one, I found out that old Mercs are just as cheap (and poorly maintained) as Rovers. But common as gully dirt on Hilton Head Island, where sometimes there are 3 or four MB convertibles in a row at stop lights. On the W124 Mercs reverse seems to go out fairly often, it starts clicking and you have about six months of use left.

My 1991 500SL was really nice to drive, especially top down, but with 80k miles on it, I started to get age related issues, (dry rubber), and decided to let the next person have fun with it. The intake hose under the manifold, and other hard to reach parts were showing signs of age...

My 1999 XJR still drove like a dream when I sold it, but I was looking for 4x4 for the winters, and to have fun.

Just got a new German Shepherd puppy, so now I've got a new purpose for the Disco.

Glad to hear, I may hit him up for a question now and again.

Yeah, I'm pretty in love with her. She's been a GREAT pup so far. Doing lots of training so I can be comfortable taking her places and people won't mind. PS: This is one of the FEW moments she's not moving...
