Default Doing my brakes and I need a hub nut socket

Hi, I'm having the hardest time finding a hub nut socket for my '99 Disco I. I'm in the Puget sound area but I'm more than willing to pay for shipping. Anyone have any suggestions for me? Even the dealer had no idea where they got the ones they use!

Thank you for saving me yet again!

The size of the hub socket you need is 52mm or 2 1/2 ". It is not really a socket, more like a piece of pipe formed to the profile of the hub nut.You should be able to get one in any good auto tool store it is not a special tool. I just bought in England last week[ because it was cheep ] when I was there, but I have removed a ton of them without one. The nuts are not very tight and you can get them offf with a hammer a punch.

I think I found what you are looking for. Hope this is the right thing. http://www.dap-inc.com/homeframe.htm You may have to scroll down the page to find it they call it the LRA039 hub nut tool. Best of luck.

Sorry, looks like that is not a direct link. You can call them or click on Rover accessories, then click on Discovery I and then on specialty.
