Does anyone know if the 2 white wires in the O2 sensor harness matter how they are connected?

Being the genius I am, I cut the rear O2 harness when I took my Y pipe off bc I was tired and was tired fighting with the clips. Figured no big deal I'll just splice them back once I finish welding the pass downpipe back together....went to do just that and found of the 4 wires in each harness 2 are just plain white. Is anyone familiar with this and does it matter how I connect those two back together?

white wires for heater which is not polarity dependent AFIK. they can be hooked up either way. ......

 

That's what I was hoping to hear. Either it was going to work fine or I'd have to redo it and swap them. Thanks!

 

I don't know why you're seeing two white wires on each connector. Here's the wiring diagram.

This is probably the color code of wires coming from ECU harness going to 02 sensor plug. The heated 02 sensor itself will have 4 wires, a gray (signal -), black (signal +), white (heater), white (heater).
