My O2 sensor wires from the main engine harness have melted due to being too close to the engine. I attempted to purchase some electrical connectors to bypass the problem. I cut the O2 harness/engine harness and spliced the connectors on, but the problem still persists (rough idle and overall performance). My question is this: Can I purchase an engine harness with the O2 sensor connectors intact and cut those off and splice them into my existing wiring harness?
