Dripping blower when it rains

Dripping blower when it rains
When it rains my pass foot well is wet.
I pulled the headliner to check & repair the sunroof drains
Check the AC drain lines
Checked the rain gutters. They looked OK, but I added silicone to make sure.
I still have a wet foot well after this. I have noticed that the AC blower drips when it rains and if I turn it on I can hear the water sloshing around.
The cowl cover is good with no cracks.
I was thinking of building a three sided hood for the fresh air intake on the firewall.
Any other ideas for the source/fix for the leak?
I pulled the carpet in the foot well and left it out because it is a huge sponge.

Me too.
I think it's the seal at the windscreen bottom edge on mine. Taking it apart and trying to reseal is on the list.
That said, the AC: I had that too. Turned out the nipples underneath just needed cleaning out. Ten minute job solved that.
Search the forums... multiple posts about AC nipples.

Definitely not the A/C nipples. Mine are gone and I can use the A/C w/o the blower dripping. It only drips when it rains. When it drips it drips out of the shaft of the blower motor.
I need to look at the cowl area. Last time I checked the drains are clear, so I don't think water is building up and going into the fresh air intake on the firewall.
I may try putting a piece of metal over the fresh air intake to eliminate that as a source and see if I still have the leak.
