Default Drivers Side Signal Light Problem

I'm having a familiar issue like others. My drivers signal works fine, except when my headlights are switched on.

I've change the light insert and bulbs. No effect. Then I saw this burn mark. Do you think I should but the connector and install a new one?

Thanks
Sean

That looks fairly important. I would certainly say it needs fixing.

Whats the best way to connect the new connector. 3 Posi-Locks? or just traditional connectors and taped?

I would try and find a new socket and connector with pigtail if possible, but from experience it can be very difficult, as they tend to be LR-unique. You may have better luck with a new socket with integrated pigtail and a generic 3-pin connector.

I cut a socket off an old LR with wires still attached. I was wondering the best way to connect the 3 wires. Since this area gets water splashed up on it.
Thx
Sean

I would use heat shrink butt connectors. No need for tape, although I suppose you could do it anyway.

Best way to connect them is to twist the wires together and solder them, and cover with heat shrink.
