Driveway OME Lift project complete
Thanks Disco Mike for the advice on the OME HD springs. That was the way to go. Having used the medium springs for a month, the HD springs are so much better.
As the owner of a bike shop, I'm used to tools and projects but not on this scale. Installing my own OME lift was not too bad, but came with challenges. I did have to resort to a spring compressor. A box of pizza and a sixer of beer made for a good trade to borrow that little tool from a local shop. I doubt I could have done it without the spring compressor. My brake lines were pretty maxed out and I still couldn't get the rear springs in place untill we brought the spring compressor on the scene. From pre-project doughnut to post project beer was about 6 hours.
The ride is great. The best $650 I've spent so far.

Depending on the mileage of your truck, you might consider replacing the old rubber brake lines with the new stainless steel lines, which will give you more room for articulation and a better/firmer brake pedal.
