Today I was driving up a hill and the check engine light came on. I stopped to listen to hear if there was any sounds and it still drove smoothly. I am not sure of all the reasons the light comes on, i checked the gas cap to make sure it was tight but that didn't solve it. Some people said it comes on at certain mileage I have about 91,400 right now. Any help or thoughts will be greatly appreciated!!

could be numerous things do you have access to a OBDII scanner? if not go to an autozone and ask them to read the codes for you and then get back to us...

 

D2's only have the check engine light come on when there is a problem, go by your local auto parts store ASAP and get the codes, then get back to us.
