Just had the DS door lock re-pinned (FOB is toast, so I use the key.) I am putting everything back in and the pivot side (towards front from DS) of the door handle sits about 1/2" off the door. It opens fine, just worried about water getting in, live in FL. I can't see any parts that I would be missing from diagrams, pics, etc. Thanks in advance!

 

Nothing too much to be concerned about. One of my rear door handles is about 1/8" to 1/4" proud since they fitted a new mechanism a few years ago. It works fine but looks unsightly. Either it's a manufacturing fault or they just fitted it wrongly. Just another job to investigate ..................... one day
