I have a like new set of E3 plugs sitting in my Land Rover parts bin in the garage. They didn’t last long (misfire codes) and I think I posted a review of them on here years ago. I have had my disco for 17 years and have almost 200k miles on it and I have tried every plug out there. I have found the Champion plugs that are called for are the best for longevity and reliability.

If new plugs seem to make the truck run better, most likely your old plugs needed replacing.

Just my opinion.

NGK's gave me poor performance and I finally replaced them with Bosch dbl plats. I will try champs next.

 

I'm certain the Bosch plugs needed to be replaced, or I wouldn't have been getting a misfire in the first place, since simply changing out the plugs fixed the issue. I hadn't really noticed the gradual loss in performance and the mileage decrease occurred about the same time I installed larger tires and a lift, so I sort of made the assumption that the decrease was due to the increase in unsprung weight and rolling resistance.

I was amazed when I installed the plugs how much of a difference it made. I'm sure that installing new plugs of any brand would have made a positive difference, and it is possible that a different brand might have made even more difference.

Just glad to be the recipient of increased low end torque and improved fuel economy with such a simple swap...
