Jason,

We can’t alter the design. We made them all the same just with different measurements. Our cover can’t go up the spoke! What some customers have done is ask for some scrap leather to match and then they line the spike with the leather then install the Wheelskins!

well that wouldn't look bad, I wouldn't use the dummy sttiches, if I had the material underneath. brittaney was girl that helped me. the reason they probably don't want to change it is that there is a cord that runs down the hems inside, so that you can put a lot of tension on the cord. when lacing it. if it were an irregular shape that wouldn't work. I wanted to get some of the matching leather to make shift boots out of since I sew my own, kinda thought it would be cool to have them match

How would you do the color scheme for the spokes? same as the sides, or same as the top and bottom? If you decide to call them up and go this route, i'd love to see finished pics. It would look pretty sharp, i think!!

personally i think if you were to pre wrap the spokes with perforated black, then wrap the steering wheel you really wouldn't notice that much. I personally would hid the fact that there were two pieces as much as possible.. I did brown and black cause I thought that brown would wear a little better show dirt and things less. I deer hunt and what not in my disco. plus it matches the piping and thats just cool!
