Default ECU Electrical Problems? (lights, transfer, AC, and more)

I have a 1994 Disco, and It have several electrical problems. The A/C is not working, the hi/low Transfer is locked, cruise control, medium ligths and some other things are not working. Does anyone here has had a similar problem? I tested the fuses in the engine box, and all are OK. Also, I tested the cables under the fuse box and all of them have 12V, but, when I checked the drivers fuse box, several fuses were dead. I took out each one of the fuses and all of them were ok. Itseems that somewhere the line power that feeds those fuses has been cutted, but where? Is there any other fuse box that I must check?

Please help! Thanks!!!

You may have a burned out interior fuse block, it does happen sometimes on Rovers.

Did they quit while you were running the HVAC blower motor? My old Jeep burned up a fuse block while theblower was running in the middle of summer - turns out the bearings in the blower motor were worn out causing the motor to pull enought amps to burn up the fuse block, but not enough to blow the fuse.

I really do not know when happened that because I bought the car a couple of weeks ago in an auction, and the AC was not working when I bought it. How could I check if the complete block is burned? This weekend I removed the whole dashboard and also removed the complete fuse box, and neither in the front or in the back were any signs of burns, heat, etc. I noticed that in the back of the fuse panel there was a little Lucas box. How could I check that this box is working OK?

Thanks for your help!

The best thing you can do is check for power to eash circuit, if you don't have power to all the circuits you need to track don the problem.

I seem to have the same problem. I have a 1993 200tdi. By the way I live in the UK.

I lost lights horn clock ect. acording to the workshop manual there is a fused link in the suply from the battery to the light switch. Still trying to find the link.

To solve the problem I put in a link wire from the ignition switch to the light suply incorporating a fuse. Yes everything works now. If I do find the fused link I'll post again. My SIL had the same problem also, and I put a wire link in that one still going Ok after 5 years.
