You need to find a sensor with the same characteristics, you can't adjust that externally. Measure the resistance of your temp sender at two different temperatures: ice water which is exactly 0C and boiling water which is exactly 100C. Then try to find one that matches best: https://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/in.../cPath/129_142 To compare the other values in between is not as important.

Just use some lil nipper pliers to cut out the underside of the seal (in between the inner metal ribs) to go around corners and the inner ribbing of the fan shroud. Stuff fits like a glove, looks dang near OE

Reason: added info
Loads of fun on the hottest day of the year so far, made sure to get out early.
Thanks, I'll pick some up. Is there a need to upgrade the alternator for this? Seeing lots of videos (for other vehicles) saying it's a must.

Reading on all the other forums of DCC bad customer service and long lead times I figured I would send a quick email and see how it was. Don't want to get stuck waiting months on a controller. obviously this is just my experience so far YMMV
This is the first electric fan setup on the D2 I’ve seen that really works well. Ford must do a heck of a job on fans as I used a Taurus fan on my Jeep years ago.
Has your butt dyno seen an improvement as well?
My cooling system is in great shape, but your thoughts regarding heat soak and the like are extremely valid, so this makes me think about it.

I believe the D2 alternator is 130amp stock, which should be fine for these fans. I did not have any issues running it at all with this setup during my 3 month test runs. A lot of the others you'll read about using ford fans, are on vehicles that come stock with a 80-90amp alternator. So for those, yea, you'd want to upgrade.
I did recently get a rebuilt 150amp P38 alternator from Rock Auto for cheap though. I had no idea how old my original one was (only had the rig for 6 months), so when I saw they were having a sale, I grabbed one. I don't think it was totally necessary, but I am prepping the truck for more overlanding kinda stuff eventually, so I took care of the electrical needs ahead of time.

Good info to know. I can handle an overwhelmed sales team in a company, if their products are worth it. Some of the best stuff you can get is from small manufactures. If you end up getting one, I'd definitely be interested in what you think of it.

Oh yea, you notice it alright. You are gaining back at least 10hp at idle, and more at high load situations. I hated how weak this motor felt going uphill when the clutch fan was fully engaged, felt like such a dog. Butt dyno says it feels like at least 20hp at times, accelerates much quicker from a stop as well. I could go on and on about how this shoulda been done from the factory, and how much better it feels and runs now. Like I've said before, I am totally happy with the fan setup themselves, honestly couldn't have worked out better. I'm not entirely happy with the controller I used, so I may keep tinkering in that department, but the fans themselves are really good.

I noticed a big difference on my gutless 4 cyl Jeep back in the day, so I assumed as such, but you have officially added this to the list for no other reason than the above.
