electric fans....anyone running these, particular ones?

well i am glad that i did it. the efficiency is worth it. really i like the noise reduction. this is a super easy set up. i still haven't done a mpg test, but i'm sure it helped a bit. the little supplied controller is still working fine. i have added an over ride and a kill switch. all is good and there is no risk of me going back to the 747 clutch set up.

There are many plusses to dumping the viscous coupling in favour of electric fans apart from one. If the fans fail or the temp sensors fail you're stuffed and there ain't much you can do about it on an empty motorway at 4am in the morning, that's my biggest fear. Sensors you can bridge out to run the fans continuously but if fan motors expire it's a nightmare.
