I'm having some issues with mine Disco 97, I heard that is very common electrical failures in Land Rover, How can you mantain the electric system? What are the more frequent electrical problems? Is there some electrician expert, can help me to anwers these questions.

What questions????
What is your truck doing wrong?
The D1's were using Lucas electronics and yes there were some issues but nothing major.

Dielectric grease in the all the electricfittings will stop most
Disco I's electrical problems unless someone has started
cutting wires for non oem stuff, then they better know how
Rovers are wired.

I believe corrosion is the primary culprit, so in general I agree with the recommendation of a dielectric grease spray. More specifically, however, the '97 D1 suffered from poor/corroded grounding (earth). I installed a couple of redundant ground wires and my alternator now works, my tachometer now works, my battery charges, etc. Simple solution, but took a while to discover it.

Ok the best way to mantain the electric system is dieelectricgrease spray, yes my electric brake switch is not working, and one mechanic couldn't resolve the problem, now I'm sending my car to electrician, I hope he can fix it.
