Default common dico 1 problems?

Hi everyone, i'm a jeep owner, and looking at selling and getting a 96' disco. Just need to know any problems you have every had concerning your disco if you are an owner. I have never actually wheeled in one but would like to expand the track just by the looks, are they very tipy?

People have also said they can pricy to maintain, what are your experiences or thoughts on this. thanks everyone, hope to hear from you soon.

I'll be checking in online but my email is ljl0129@earthlink.net just in case you want it. thanks

With regards to been pricing to maintain, depends if you use a main dealer to carry out all the work or not. Most parts are quite cheap, at least here in the UK. A 96 disco should be easy to work if you have some basic knowledge.

Carry out regular oil changes on the engine and make sure all oil levels on axles, gearbox and transferbox are okay on a regular basis and all should be well.

The tipping part, it is not as easy as you may think, as most of the weight is in the chassis, drive train and engine. It also depends what sort of driving you are planning on doing, though if you saw some of the pics from the camel trophy stuff, you would be amazed.
