Engine heater plug
Now that I am in Colorado Springs I am beginning to think of the winter. Having lived most of my life in Arizona I have not yet learned the definition of cold weather. So with that in mind I'm wondering if an engine heater plug is in order. I park in a garage at night where a eletrical outlet is available. Is this something worth considering? DiscoMike I know your just north of me and I think I drive by you on my way to Denver for weekend getaways. Do you have one?
Having moved back from Santa Barbara before last winter set in, I got a chance to do alot of cold starts in the -15 to -20 degree weather with no problem at all, and I park out side.
Where is Colorado did you move to, have to meet up and show you some trails.

Ya I'm in Colorado Springs. Moved from Phoenix so when it snows I'll probably run into a pine tree or something. The thought of starting my engine at sub-zero temperatures puts chills down my back!
When I see snow I get mildly excited, and for a 61 year old that is good.
There will be some things you may want to do to your truck prior to the fist foot of snow.
Call me some time and we can talk.
