Exclamation Engine Issues PLEASE HELP!!!

I have a 95 disco with a Manual Tranny. The other day i got home and everything was running great with the truck. Later that night i needed to go to the store went and started the truck and she started choking. She was idling around 100-250rpm and when i push the gas in she choked more which led me to think of a vacuum leak. After i look for the leak and come up empty handed i try to start her again and now she turned over but didn't turn (not even choking). I charged my battery thinking it may be that and hook it back up and now when i turn the key one click i have power but when it goes the second click the power dies.

Please help i can use all suggestions.

Find the RAVE download, it is the workshop manual for LR.
AK Rover has it in his signature as well as others so a search for either AK Rover or the RAVE manual and you should find it.

Look on e-bay for a OBDI scanner.

Have you cleaned your throttle body yet? Or tried anything else since this happened?

I have the manual downloaded but i do not know where to begin looking in the manual for my issue. It tells me to look at the electrical portion but there's no real direction on where to begin. Im not sure what my issue is just trying to figure things out one by one i guess. I really dont what to take it to the shop but my ideas are running low.

Im looking at OBD 1 scanners and i am unsure if i should get it or now. The vehicles it lists are Ford, GM, and Toyota/Lexus.

Will this fit? i know that Land Rover was not for yet.
