Default Engine removal advice

Ok my son wrecked his 02 disco II after 6 month driving. Totaled it actually....frame is bent and front is mangled. I was able to get the engine to start and I know the truck as I'm the one who maintained it. It's got a 135k and new driveshafts brakes lift kit so on and on. I try to sell it on cl and someone offered me another one for $500 so I bought it. I plan on swapping the motor, trans, and probably diffs. I was hoping someone WHO HAS PULLED a motor from a disco II could give me pointers. I know I have to lift the engine to pull motor mounts to get to be able to lower the engine to get to the trans bolts. Do I have to pull the intake? What other tricks are there to pulling this out and swapping it? The motor is bad in the one I bought. What should be done to the engine while I have it out? I'm hoping to get this back together pretty quickly since he needs a ride.

Remove the transfer case first.

Disconnect all the items that tie the motor to the engine harness, firewall, etc.

Use a sawzall and cut the support away on top of the radiator.

Unbolt/remove Trans and motor mounts. Pull both motor and Trans out like a big tuna!
