Any input would be appreciated.
It usually will still make noise as the engine revs but the sound of the increased rpms and fan noise drowns it out. Depends on the leak too, a leaky exhaust manifold won't always throw codes unless the leak is bad enough to suck air into the system and alter the mixture. Like I said, I couldn't really tell much from the sound on the vid. Just a suggestion. Sometimes you can take a feather or a piece of paper and run it around the exhaust to see if air is being blown out anywhere.

An induction cleaning also tends to make enough smoke to see if there are any exhaust leaks.

Ditto. Mines a lot louder when the engine is cold. Gets pretty much unnoticable after its good and hot.

03 with mystery tick here..i love this truck but im heading to Seattle from Georgia next month, hope we can figure it out soon! I dont belive this noise is the sleeves,im wondering if its an oil gally that is partially blocked..when you rev the motor it pushes more oil past the block? im going to do a motor flush here..with a cocktail of sludge busters..mostly soak time will be my strategy.
