Default Exhaust Leak

I have a recurring exhaust leak from the right manifold to exhaust pipe flange. It happens about every 4-5k miles due to the nut loosening. I tighten them back up and it obviously goes away. I'm curious to know if anyone else has experienced the same problem and what your remedy was.

I am just me tooing. Mine loosens on both sides. I can tell you that loctite does not fix it (any color) I have also put two nuts on each stud (both nuts loosen but they do stay tight longer)

Most Loctite will soften at somewhere above 400, then re-bond when it cools. Loctite has recently introduced two new threadlockers that will withstand temperatures up to 650F. Loctite 2422 is medium strength and Loctite 2620 is permanent strength.

Here is another type - ThreeBond High-Temperature Thread Lock - Maintenance & Misc. - Fluids & Chemicals - SoloMotoParts.com - Motorcycle Parts, Accessories and Gear
