Default Exhaust leak detection?

Does anyone know if there is a digital tool/meter for finding exhaust leaks? I have a leak and this would help greatly in find it.

cheapest way do a seafoam treatment and partly block the exhaust with a rag, if there is a leak you should be able to see it then.

I agree Seafoam is the best. Just pull a vacume line and pour 1/3 to 1/2 bottle of Seafoam into a cup or similar vessel and let it suck in; I guarantee you will find the leak.

Agreed with above, however if prevented from doing that sort of treatment, you can also use an infrared thermometer to "shoot" suspected joints, a leak normally makes a smudge, and on mine the temp at the leak spot was over 400F even though truck was just started and rest of system had not warmed up yet. Another shade tree way is to shove the output hose from a shop vac up the tail pipe, putting slight air pressure in the system, truck not running. Blow smoke from a quality cigar and look for air currents. Once found, enjoy the rest of the cigar. Note: a cheap cigar will work just as well.

Don't try SeaFoam inside the garage....

Opting a leak detection company for exhausting leaks could be a wise decision if nothing is working out.

Another way to find leaks, that's 100% free, is fold up a rag and use it in the palm of your hand to block off the exhaust. Then have someone listen to where the exhaust is escaping in the system.

Thanks for that, I'll give that a try as I've got a leak.
