Default Expansion Tank Leak - 2000 Series II - Best place to buy?

I just discovered a leak where the small tube attaches to the bottom of the expansion tank. The nipple has a crack in it and a small stream of coolant shoots out of it.

Other than ebay... anyone have any great ideas on where to pick one up?

Local salvage yard doesn't have one... Likely try to avoid a used one anyway, as the plastic on it is likely as brittle and susceptible to cracking as the one I have now...

Seems like British Part of Utah has the best price I've been able to find so far.

I wonder if I can cut it off and install a brass hose barb instead of buying a whole new tank... Wonder if I could get it to seal up well enough...

hmmm.....

Rock auto is the best price on this tank. Less than $40 last time I checked.

Yeah I was going to mention rockauto too but they sometimes make up for their great prices with insane shipping cost.

True. I've had better luck sometimes using their part numbers/brands and searching amazon. Lots of steps though.

Their warranty process is a head ache too. They ask you to buy the new part and then do a return on the old part. I didn't trust them, based on a post from Tom ie Antichrist, I think. So I ended up just sending them the broken part and then they sent me the new one.
