Exterior maintenance: black window seals and roof spots

Brushing the green gunk out of the window edges resulted in a bunch of black stuff coming out along with the green. Along the top edge of the rear curved windows, I saw some bubbling of the liquid soap - which suggests the seal may be on its way out. I couldn't detect any water coming in though. What have you done about those?
Roof spots: short of a new paint job, any recommended course of actions?
Thanks for any tips and happy weekend!

Clean the groove around window so no loose bits or contaminants, then apply masking tape on edge of glass & also on roof around the groove, then apply black RTV or silicone (RTV much better),, then using a small rubber or plastic piece smooth it out, (if you apply a little soapy water to the tool you are using for smoothing it out, it will slide over RTV without making a mess),, if you do it right it will look factory finish,
I have done this to every Disco, leaking or not leaking, instead of waiting to see if it will leak next winter,,
((Forgot to mention pill of masking tape before RTV sets,))
