Default f/u on coolant leak

So, I went to the dealer to have my truck pressure tested b/c I was seeing a small amount of coagulated coolant at the motor where coolant exits to the heater hoses. Went up to 20 psi, not a drop. Guess I'm in the clear for now, but I don't know where that coolant came from.

Good news is, unlike other experiences I've heard, the dealer here is legit. Second time there since we moved here. Mechanic told me my disco II was the nicest all around that he's seen - talked w/ me about the various leaky areas of discos but said he loves these trucks. DIDN'T CHARGE ME A PENNY!

Good to hear. Just keep an eye out and check it every once and a while.

Alloy engine when leak coolant as they cool down even though they won't leak when hot.

Yeah, I thought about that too. But, the motor was stone cold when he pressure tested it...not a drop. I'll keep a close eye on it and see what happens - just got back from a 300 mile trip, mild off roading for camping and canoeing. We'll see what happens.
