I scored a set of '04 headlights at the junkyard a few weeks ago for $25 a piece! I cut the '04 harnesses out as well so I could make it as factory as possible. They were a little hazed but about 20 minutes of wet sanding 600/1000/2000 grit followed by rubbing compound with the orbital buffer made them look like new.
I also opted to run the lows when the high was enabled so I utilized the relay and fuse that was previously used by the air suspension's compressor to keep a clean install.
A harbor freight air saw make quick work of cutting out the original headlight bracket and used some universal metal back strap to make new mounts inward.
I did find that you have to trim the inner part of the grill slightly near the top as well as cut two lower mounting points off.
I did this as more of a light output improvement (glass lenses were pitted) but I think it looks sharp too.
I've had two sets of headlights in the garage for years, always wimping out at the prospect of cutting on my rover. Every successful post inches me closer. Maybe before I die...

Thanks for posting! Looks good!
It's pretty easy going once you make that first cut, pretty much just removing the "box" that the old style headlamps attaches to, then some fabrication to secure the new ones securely.
