Default Factory off road lights

So i have some off road lights that are mounted to my bumper and a swith on the dash, that i assume is the switch for it, however it does not seem to turn them on, let alone anything. Anybody know how to diagnose this? I have traced the wires that the lights are hooked up to and it runs to a controller looking box attached to the fuse box under the hood.

Here are the lights in question

The switch i am talking about is the bottom one with "2" on it.

also, i got a pretty new UltraGauge for christmas......i enjoy it very much, lol!

Checked fuses, bulbs, and relays? Also check the electrical connections.

Wanna sell the light covers?

Yes to all. The controller seems to have a 15 amp fuse of its own, which i checked. It may be a moot point, since im wanting to get a steel bumper on it and would get rid of everything else.

It just drives me nuts not knowing wether that switch is for that or not and how those lights are supposed to turn on........ever watch the show Friends, lol

The switch with the 2 on it was a for those lights. That box is a known faulty spot. Replace with a regular relay and you are good.

And make sure they have it plugged into the correct switch

Many fog and driving lights only work with the engine running and the lights on main or dip beam (can't remember which) and sometimes on sidelights.

I believe the engine has to run due to the humongous power draw from the lights in question.
