Default Factory radio

Ok yup it still has one with the alpine cd changer which loads and cycles through cds but the cd 00 error on radio.

so my question is what is the removal tops for the radio??

two metal 'keys' into the top slots to release the fixing spring tabs.....

Been fishing in there and find the release grrr
using a fileFolder metal bar

If I remember it doesn't really click, it just pushes back so you can pull the head unit out. So you have to have the tools in there to hold the clip back while pulling at the same time.

You need something stiffer than a file folder tab (that’s what she said). They need to push the tabs on the head unit down instead of flexing up as they are inserted.

The metal file folder tabs work perfectly well as they are. It's just a bit tricky to get them positioned correctly. See if you can find a good photo of the top of the radio (I think all the Disco2 models mount the same way) so you can get an idea of exactly what has to push down and where it is.

yeah that is what I need is a pic of the top of the radio

Found out why I couldn’t feel the taps to remove the radio lol

There missing fml
