Default Factory Radio AUX

Hello. I have a factory radio, that has a casette player (in 2003!!) but no CD slot. It does have a "CD" button, which is probably supposed to activate the 6-disk CD changer that this particular car has never had. My Disco is pretty much a basic model, no sunroofs, no suede in the doors, no premium sound, and no CD changer, among other things. Question: does that factory radio have some kind of an AUX jack in the back of it? What is the easiest way to connect a smartphone or a Blue Tooth receiver to the original radio? Is there an easy "plug and play" option there? Thanks

Lookup GROM aux audio adapter, there are other brands that I can't think of right off. There should be one that plugs into the disc changer plug

I concur with Sandman. I've had a GROM unit in my '99 DII for around 10 years and it's been great. It plugs into the back of the radio in the place that was designed for the CD changer. It's a little pricey at $175.99 but it's plug and play and it works great. Link below.

Thanks! What about the couple of connectors found in the left "vent space" in the cargo area? If they are CD changer wires, could an adapter be used to install something there? Anybody tried?

They're not CD changer wires. The CD carousel is under the passenger seat.

You can get this unit from Grom which just adds the 3.5mm aux adapter: https://gromaudio.com/store/aux1_ada...tereo-kit.html

Another less expensive option is to purchase a car audio cassette tape adapter to aux adapter or apparently you can get them with bluetooth now?!?!?

Does any one know what these are? There is two connectors, one is small, the other mid-size. They are much smaller than the stock towing wiring harness connector that is supposed to be located under/behind the right side tail light.

Possibly for the rear A/C, or maybe the headphone socket that's a little forward of that area for the high-end audio system. Different models have different accessories.
You'll need to provide better information than "small" and "mid-size" connectors if you really want to track them down. Wire colours, number of pins, connector shape, etc. Photos help a lot.
