yeah dead blow, my dad's nickname for it was slow blow sorry hard to break his nicknames lol

I had a hell of a time getting my fan off last year. For me the issue was I wasn't cracking it hard enough. You need a SOLID, sharp blow on the wrench with a decently heavy hammer.
