Fault code 4012 causing Three Amigos
I had been free of the Three Amigos for a little while but they have re-appeared and the code is:
Fault 4012 Pump Failure 1 (High level at X2 Pin 8 without pump actuation)
Any thoughts on a cause and how to fix?
Background: I previously had fault code 4022 Earth not connected to ground.
The ground wire to my ABS module was broken. I repaired the wire and cleared the code.

Which pump? ...................if the 3 amigos are showing it has nothing to do with the engine malfunction as they are different Control Unit's. There are multiple faults that create the 3 amigo scenario, battery power or earth grounds, wheel sensors or connections, SVS faults etc.
I cannot find any information on the cause or how to fix.

The pump and motor are the round lumps on the back of the modulator

You will need to remove these to test the motor or replace the whole Wabco unit with a new or used item.
TBH I have never come across a pump/motor failure in a Wabco unit to date.
PS: Check with either Abran Abeyta or Paul Grant they may have a Wabco unit and/or have more knowledge of the ways to test them.
