Took in for smog recieved fault codes P0300 and P0307. What are these and what do I do?

p0300 - multiple cylinder misfire
p0307 - misfire in cylinder 7

A code P0307 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:

Faulty spark plug or wire
Faulty coil (pack)
Faulty oxygen sensor(s)
Faulty fuel injector
Burned exhaust valve
Faulty catalytic converter(s)
Running out of fuel
Poor compression
Defective computer

How many miles on your truck, when was the last set of plugs installed, how about plug wires, what octane gas are you using??

 

Hey Mike 148000 I'm going to replace all of those I have your list that you sent me on friday I plan on doing most of the work this coming weeked. I am running 91 octane, not sure what the guy before me was useing I'm going to email and ask.
