Hey All I have a fault code P0441 which I foudn means
(Evap Purge Valve Incorrect Flow Fault ) can anyone let me know if this is serious, easily fixed, have to take to dealer, or whatever. Thaks in advance.

 

do you live in a hot climate? have you cleared this code before and it returned? did it just show up recently? how many miles? what year/model? how long have you had the truck?

lots of questions to be answered before it can be truly diagnosed

 

It shouldn't affect the running of the engine, and I don't see where it needs to be fixed quickly but you sure won't get passed by a smog inspection.

 

I live in Arizona. I have not cleareed thos code before. I started my Disco to cool it down from 110 degree heat outside and when I came back out it was on. It is a 1996 Discovery with 88,000 miles. I just finished lifting it and I don't want to worry when I take it offroading. thanks

 

It will not leave you stranded. But if you are concerned, take it to a small Rover shop and have them check it out, should be a pretty simple job.
