Fault codes but no CEL
I'm getting hard (not pending) fault codes of P1172 and P1175 but my CEL light isn't coming on.
When I start the truck all the lights seem to come on including the "service engine soon" light so I know the bulb is good.
I'm not concerned with the specific codes as I'll deal with them but I am concerned that the CEL light isn't coming on.
Any ideas?
There isn't a separate "check engine" light other than the "service engine soon" light is there?

Wanted to bump this as I've purposely unhooked things like O2 sensors and water temp sensors over the past several weeks and still don't get a a SES light on the instrument cluster but do see them on my torque app.
Like I said before the light does come on when key is first turned during bulb check.
Thanks for any input, weird issue.

Not weird. Certain global zones don't trigger the CEL for emissions issues. If a prior owner, a dealership, or a shop wanted emissions codes to not trigger the CEL, they could have used a Hawkeye tool or the dealership's Testbook tool to program your BCU that you were in Bahrain or some such country.
