Wired some foglights to the stock wires with a amazon waterproof connector kit. Same kit for the in dash controls for the winch. Could use some cleanup after trimming the cross member so the winch controls would fit. Still havent put the winch rope on, want to make sure i tension it correctly and my driveway probably isnt the best place for that. Dual Battery install went fine, the MDI kit made it super clean. Havent made any progress on my dvd replacement thing, but, otherwise, its coming along.
While the bumper looks a lot better than the cracked/broken stock one that was on there, the water bottle is now more vulnerable, not sure what to do about that at the moment.
The never ending saga continues, hope everyone is wheels down and havin' fun.
To give my washer tank a bit of protection, I thoroughly cleaned it, roughed it with some 80 grit and sprayed it with black rubberized truck bed paint. I hit with a rattle can about once a year. The black makes it sort of disappear in the shadows of the underneath and the thickish truck bed liner gives it a level of protection from rocks and road debris but It would not take a direct hit from anything substantial. I did this about 6 years ago and have not had any issues with it.
I moved my washer bottle to the rear left of engine bay, I had plenty of room (no secondary air). I exposed the harness as far back as I could, reloomed it and ran it along firewall. The water lines were even easier as it was just shortening it.
