What sort of wheeling will you be doing, if H.D., you might consider the extended OME Port shock, for a lot better/controlled ride.

Thanks, Mike. I'll look in to that. I'm thinking of going up another 1/2" in the back to level it out. Do you think there's that much slack in the abs wires? The rears are pretty tight as it is.

After a couple weeks on the road, I really have not noticed an appreciable difference in MPG. I drove from Atlanta to Alabama and back and got basically the same (albeit terrible) mileage as I did stock.

I have Hankook tires on my 99 D2. stock size The older they get the louder the road noise is. They have been good tires and look great. . Also I added D1 CDL it also added to the noise. I wish I had payed the extra coin and got the Ashcroft cable shifter. I read its much quieter. I may have to do a 2"lift when its time to get new tires.
