Wow...

DRAMA! Beware this may be long

For starters...

Windshield has leaked for a while now.... Lazy installation, not close cut..shotty install
-I had relay bundle on RH lower kick down to reset the Emission Maint. Reminder in hope of clearing Check engine light. Worked for 10 miles...Oh well.

Wife drives truck while out of town and reports bad vibration and a little squeek.
-I ask her to park it. She does, only outside during record rainfall. Wire bundle and all relays still down in floor and now submerged in water for several days...Thanks to wind-only-shield

Replace ALL stinking relays and now truck wont start.
-Turns over fine, good fuel psi, but NOTICE alarm, door locks and Check Engine light all quit at the same time.....
FRIED ALARM ECU!!!

While trouble shooting crank sensor in reference to above, use trusty power washer to remove the layers of crud and crap caked on (mostly power steering leak/time). Uncover mother earths front cover seal (the dirt) and now have coolant leak, and bad..front cover

Pan hard rod bushings were absolutely shot (thanks to pwr steering leak) which resulted in lots of vibs, and loose steering.
-Replaced and truck drives AMAZING!!!

I love that!! I told one of the people in the shop that
I work at and he gave me six fuel injectors for a
LandCr well a Toyota.

I guess that Land... this or that its all the same to most,
just not us.

 

Yeah, there are people that ask me how I like my Toyota. I even had someone tell me I had a pretty Jeep.

LOL! I had to fight with a guy at Lowes in the hardware dept when I was trying to get some spare keys made. He would not believe me that a Land Rover Disco is made by guess who?! LAND ROVER! He kept asking me who makes that, I kept replying "LAND ROVER"!
BTW a Mitsubitshi or an Izusu flat key blank work for a 95 Disco we figured out that day! (I can't remember which one we used now?)
