Default Flashing "M" Mode and "S" Mode

Ok, so yesterday I started my car and the "M" and "S" Mode lights started flashing. I immediately recalled from earlier posts that this was NOT a good thing. I quickly looked at my manual and it said to turn of the vehicle and restart.

The flashing lights went away after restarting, but I'm paranoid now. Is there any chance that it was a false alarm and won't come back?? Or is it a sign of things to come?

Anybody else experience this?

What year is your truck, how many miles on it and are you on the original truck battery?

It's a 2000 D2.

I have approximately 92K miles and just switched out the battery about 6 months ago.

I would clean and tighten your battery cable, then go bu auto zone and make sure your voltage is up between 13.6 volts and 14.4, if not you may have a battery problem.
The reason I say that is because low voltage will make those lights flash.
Let me know what you find and if it happens again.
