Default Flashing Odometer Reading on 2000 Disco 2

Whats the fix on my flashing odometer reading? It’s also not lit for nighttime driving.

Ok well that is probably 2 different things. There is a small green bulb that can be changed in the dash. I found instructions somewhere on this forum to do that fix. The bulbs are also cheap.

The flashing odometer can be caused by as few different things. Mine has been flashing for over 2 years. When I first bought the truck i found out after driving for 15 minutes that the alternator was shot. She crapped out and all the dash lights came on. When I had fixed it the odometer was still flashing. If you want it fixed you'll need a tool that can fix and diagnose LR engines. Something like a Nanocom or a Hawkeye. Maybe a local dealer or Euro car repair place could help you out. Good luck.

Yep you'll have to get the BCU/Intrument Cluster Synced back together and all will be well or have the Odometer flash option disabled in the BCU.
