Flashing Speedometer

The odometer keep reading as normal and im still able to switch from miles to km... it works fine but blinks =/

Yes, it show the miles and still counts, also im able toswitch from miles to km by pressing the button... Everything works fine, the only thing is the flashing odometer... I was reading that atlantic british is selling a scanner thats able to fixs this for around $1700 also can do alot more things like getting the codes for the radios and sync the keys etc.....

I was able to turn off the flashing with my hawkeye, but it doesn't actually fix the problem, it just doesn't report it by flashing anymore.

Looks like the blackbox nanocom will actually sync.

It's 299 euros... which actually seems to be a really good price for what this thing does. I wish I knew about their products before I bought the hawkeye.

300 Euro's is about $406 USD.
The dealer would prob do it for $100.

Yeah, or whatever an hour labor is.
But he was talking about buying a $1700 scanner, I was just suggesting that there are cheaper scanners. I wouldn't want to own a D2 without some sort of special scanner, and since I own two, it was a no-brainer.

If I had to buy a $1700 scanner to fix my truck I'd buy a different truck. lol

I hear that. I guess it depends on when you bought it. I wouldn't buy the $500 hawkeye just for my 99 that is probably only worth $2000, but if I had an LR3 or a Ranger Rover MKIII, it might be a different story on how much money I can justify for a fancy tool.
