it’s held together, just. Needs about as much maintenance as the car!
is there any better quality option 3 years later.
they are still available but am hoping for an upgrade for my original key internals and blade.
Whats the latest?

Do you need a “flipping “ one? I got a used D2 fob from wrecker, removed the roll pin attaching the metal key and attached my original key. Inside the fob is a code (4 digit IIRC). I then used my Nano to programme the new number to the car.
I dont ‘need’ a flip key, but do like not poking holes in my jeans.
Hoping there is a new sturdy flip fob, not that flimsy item that still seems to be kicking around.

I don't think D2's came with flip fobs... So you would be looking for a generic case that your key blade fits in... I have the stock kind and those seem to hold up but they don't fold up...
P38 and LR3 came with flip fobs so you might looks for those vehicles and see if you get lucky.
